How it works
The widget is a tiny iframe that loads a single page from populationclock.org. It interpolates the UN's medium-variant projection across the calendar year, the same method used by the live counter on this site, so the number ticks up smoothly and stays consistent with the rest of our data.
It is free to use on personal and commercial sites. We only ask that you keep the small link back to populationclock.org, which credits the underlying UN data source.
